Little Gransden Air & Car Show 10K

It's not often that we find ourselves with a Yakovlev Yak-11 World War 2 fighter aircraft taxiing past our finish line to stop alongside for the race finishers, but on Saturday that's exactly what happened at the 30th Little Gransden Air & Car Show 10K
Held on the Saturday before the show really gets going on Sunday and Monday, the Little Gransden Airshow 10K is a mixed terrain run around the airfield and village which raises money for Children In Need and other local children's charities.
With almost 100 keen athletes registered to take part in this year's race, the event had a relaxed and light hearted air while still keeping us plenty busy.
With everything set up in plenty of time as the sun broke through the clouds to warm things up, the race started without a hitch and our athletes were on their way.
Our winning athlete was back across the line in 38:24 and looking like they'd enjoyed the run. From there, other athletes finished in a steady stream, all looking like they'd had a great time out on the run.
Well done to everyone who took part in the event and congratulations to our winners! It was great to see everyone out and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
